Honda 2.0 Liter water cooled 4 cylinder i-Vtec engine. Mated to the Honda engine is a Honda 6 speed manual transmission with LSD. The shift lever position is the same as the RD180, placed to the right of the driver.

For ultimate stopping ability, high performance racing ventilated disk brakes are used. We adopted a high quality adjustable shock absorber and double wish bone suspension system. Similar to the RD180, we set the geometry to bring out the maximum ability of the mid-engine car whilst retaining predictable handling characteristics.
